About Matthew:

As Principal of AMK Law, a boutique Indigenous CBD Melbourne commercial law firm, he is consistently engaged with young business owners and existing business owners seeking to expand by delivering high level legal advice and services.

He values cultural differences and ethnicities, he has an Aboriginal mother and a Greek father. His family is Narungga and their traditional lands are located on Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. He stays connected both personally and professionally to his indigenous heritage and through getting involved in charitable and community organisations.

Matthew has been regularly involved in workshops and panels. This includes having been involved in community radio programs, presented at seminars and conference, and have mentored Indigenous students.

Matthew’s other interests include Jiu-Jitsu. He started Jiu-jitsu over 10 years ago and has taken part in overseas competitions and trainings. It has helped him develop mental toughness, problem solving skills and patience.

Matthew enjoys a plant-based diet and long bush walks with his Rottweiler puppy.
